Dashian Blessings from Rotarians

Every year our Rotaractors go to our Mentor/Advisor Rtn. Dr. Chandra Lekha Tuladhar’s residence to take the Dashain blessings and tika. This year also we went to her residence where we received blessings and tika from our Advisor Ma’am and Rtn. Anand Tuladhar. We also had a group games followed by a healthy dinner.

 

Joint Changa Chait Program

Naikap

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Mid-town jointly with its sponsoring club RC Kathmandu Mid-Town did a joint Chainga Chait Program at Rtn. Navio’s residence at Naikap. It was a half day program where many Rotarians and Rotaractors gathered to fly kites followed by lunch. On the very Kite Flying competition, the winners were Rtr. Unesh Bajracharya from Rotaract and Rtr. Saroj Sir from the Rotary. In be interaction was also done with
the family members of our Rotarians.

 

Joint Handover

Janasewa School, Panga

Joint Handover function of Interact Clubs of Kathmandu Mid -Town and Kathmandu Mid-Town/Kirtipur was conducted at Janasewa School. The chief guest of the program was Rtn. Devendra Gangol, President of Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town and the program was also graced by the presence of Mentor/Advisor Rtn. Dr Chandra Lekha Tuladhar and Rtn. Bauddha Laishram. After the formal session was over the Interactors entertain by citing a poem, singing songs and telling jokes.

 

Interact COTS

Interact COTS was organized to orient the Interactors about the roles and  responsibilities. The orientation included:
•Basics of Rotary International (including Rotaract and Interact)
•Concept about the club (Members and Board Members along with responsibilities)
•Logistics of club
•Meeting procedures (with demonstration)
•Project ideas and roles of Interactors

Rtr.Kishor Acharya and Rtr.Saugat Gautam were the key resource personnel. The orientation session was interactive where the students were very much willing to be a part of the Interact Club and was much enthusiastic to take up their roles and responsibilities.

Celebration of Guru Purnima

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Mid-town celebrated the “Guru Purnima” to show the respect, love and affection to our mentor/advisor Rtn. Dr. Chandra Lekha Tuladhar for her continuous support and guidance for 15 years. Maam has always been a good teacher and a good mother for the Rotaractors of Kathmandu Mid-Town. She has been a one constant figure who is looking after us in every ups and down. She indeed is a good teacher to us.
